A new storm overflow and outfall into Annick Water have been constructed. These will divert excess wastewater during heavy rain
What We Have Done:
We have installed a new outfall in land behind Lainshaw Street.
This involved installing a new underground chamber and associated pipework and a new headwall into Annick Water.
The project was delivered in parallel to the second phase of another capital investment project to address flooding on David Dale Avenue itself.
The project is part of the £500million Improving Urban Waters programme
