Project Overview
Scottish Water has received planning approval from Argyll and Bute Council for the construction of a new £31million Water Treatment Works (WTW) in Torra, which will ensure the continued provision of fresh, clear drinking water now and into the future.
The new facility will be constructed in the field adjacent to the current Torra WTW, located on High Road, PA42 7DD, and is expected to take around 18 months to complete.
Following the approval of planning consent, the programme of works is currently being agreed. Further updates will be provided on this page once details are confirmed.
