Sewer Repair - South Queensferry Beach

We're carrying out a short programme of essential sewer repair work at South Queensferry Beach from 12 October. The work is expected to take around one week to complete.

The sewer pipe running along the sea wall has become loose and displaced in places, and we'll be carrying out repairs and replacing its support brackets. This will help reduce the amount of water entering the sewer network and improve the resilience of the asset.

Due to tidal conditions, our teams will work during limited periods each day. Access to the beach will remain open throughout the works and no restrictions are expected. Equipment and materials will be removed at the end of each working period.
