What We Are Doing
From mid-October 2026 for approximately nine months, Morrison Construction will be working in partnership with AG Wilson on behalf of Scottish Water to replace over 3km of the deteriorating sewer infrastructure.
Road closures will be required in order to carry this work out safely. More information about this can be found in the customer information link below.
Why We Are Doing It
The rising main has experienced numerous bursts over the last two years, reflecting a significant deterioration from its previous performance.
We recognise that bursts and repairs have caused significant disruption to affected landowners and the wider community - and would like to acknowledge the constructive engagement and patience of stakeholders in these circumstances.
