Scottish Water, in collaboration with the Scottish Government's Private Water Supplies project, is working to address water scarcity issues in Milton of Cushnie and the surrounding area.

Project Update - March 2026
After careful consideration from the Scottish Government, it has been decided that the project will not be taken forward. A decision letter from the Scottish Government Water Industry Division with further information has been shared with interested residents.
