Fort William Site Investigations

In Your Area

We will be carrying out site investigation work in Fort William in January 2026.

Through our commercial subsidiary Scottish Water Horizons we are designing a project to upgrade the local sewer network to support development in the area.

Site investigations will be taking place on a section of the A82 Achintore Road and various sections of Lundavra Road and Connochie Road. Final traffic management arrangements are being finalised but we anticipate work beginning on Monday 19 January 2026 for up to six weeks.

The A82 is a critical road through Fort William and Lundavra Road is the only route to access a large number of houses and the local primary school so every effort will me made to minimise disruption for residents and road users including weekend working.
