What are we doing?

We are closing a lane on Towers Road on Monday 6 April until Friday 17 April, to allow for water mains replacements.

Traffic will continue to flow under temporary traffic light control (please see the diagram below). Access to properties will be maintained throughout; however, vehicle access to 1 and 3 Staffa Drive will be temporarily unavailable. A section of the footpath will also be closed during this period.

Please note that water supplies to a number of properties will be interrupted for one day on Thursday 9 April, between 08:00 and 18:00. Affected residents are being contacted directly, and alternative water supplies will be arranged.

These works have been scheduled during the school Easter holidays to help minimise disruption. Notification letters will also be distributed to nearby properties to ensure residents are fully informed of the planned lane closure.
